We often hear that motherhood is a thankless job and it takes years to see if what you are doing bears any fruit. Not my favorite description of being a mom.

In this weeks chat with Kimberly Amici we learn that it is also completely false.

“My husband and I were wondering if we were loving our kids how they needed to be loved? Are we creating a home atmosphere that made them feel comfortable? We wanted to do better as parents.”

This desire was the catalyst for the family retreat and family assessment that the Amici’s do each year.

These practices had a huge impact on their family in the following ways:

-Created Self Awareness

-Gave insights into their strengths and weaknesses

-Provided accountability

-Fostered a culture of openness where everyone’s voice matters

Thriving in Motherhood Podcast Community on Patreon

Patreon is the place where we can come together as mothers and intentionally cultivate growth together. Each month you can gain access to printable worksheets that go along with topics in the podcast to help us slow down and make lasting change – not just be inspired for a few days and then move on. These worksheets are what I’m personally working on and talking about with my closest friends – and I want YOU to join us!

Cultivate your growth intentionally with us through two worksheets a month, a online community, and a monthly group video call to share our “big wins” and things we are still working on.
