Does anyone else struggle with being good about exercising 1 or 2 days a week but then it’s hard to get back to? In this weeks episode we are going to look at why this might be and what to do about it – or any other habit that you are having a hard time being consistent with!
I didn’t believe Andrew when he told me that the secret to writing consistently (part of his job as a professor) is cutting himself off after a certain amount of time each day so he doesn’t reach burn out.
I thought that as a mom, that principle didn’t apply to me because – seize the moment! If there is time I will use it! The problem was I would get burned out or do too much of one thing (like exercising for 60 minutes) so that the next day I needed to focus on other things to get life back into balance.
I put a 15 minute max on my exercising time and now I’m able to be consistent each morning!
What would consistent exercise do for you?
Taking care of ourselves physically is a big part of the Soul Pillar!
It makes it so we can be at our best so we can have energy and health to pour into the people we love and the missions we have. It doesn’t have to a be a HUGE change to start making a big difference.
What form of exercise would you enjoy that would make a big difference on how you feel?
I know I am so much happier with the endorphins I get from movement!

Patreon is the place where we can come together as mothers and intentionally cultivate growth together. Each month you can gain access to printable worksheets that go along with topics in the podcast to help us slow down and make lasting change – not just be inspired for a few days and then move on. These worksheets are what I’m personally working on and talking about with my closest friends – and I want YOU to join us!
Cultivate your growth intentionally with us through two worksheets a month, a online community, and a monthly group video call to share our “big wins” and things we are still working on.
